. . . When I was in Toulouse, France I wandered into a pharmacy to get some moisturizer. While I was making my purchase, my husband noticed a little brochure on our way out, and handed it to me as we left. I read a bit of French, but even without reading anything I knew what the message was going to be in this tense little brochure: cannabis is a dangerous and addictive drug and to be feared and avoided. Sigh. Turns out the war on drugs is alive and well across much of the globe. As I got back to work I did a bit of research on the origin of this brochure: It’s right here in the USA, in Los Angeles at the “Foundation for a Drug-Free World”.
